He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Donel Wheeler and Joan Wheeler; and his grandfather Andy Demalade. He is survived by: his stepmother Momo; his aunts, Morgan, Ziggy (Macie Bubba) and Jamie; and his uncle David.

“Donel held within himself a gentle, as well as vulnerable, Soul. His infectious Spirit and Sacrificial Heart was a living witness to many, inclusive of myself.. While he was “Unwanted” by some here on earth, he was “Wanted” by many, many more. I pray that his life will never be forgotten. I myself will continue his memory by carrying out one of the wishes he shared with me early on in our getting to know one another… Reuniting children with their parents. You’re Loved to Life.”
