He was predeceased by: his parents, Amandus Dunlap and Dorothy Dunlap (Buffton); and his sister Joan Dunlap. He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Dunlap (Shaw); his children, Cheryl Wellman of East Stroudsburg, Cynthia Courtright of East Stroudsburg, Donald F. Dunlap, Jr. of Bushkill and Kathleen Phillips of Effort; and his sisters, Janet Swink of Stroudsburg and Sandra Potts of Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the National Alzheimers' Foundation.
