He was predeceased by: his parent Ivan LaVende. He is survived by: his parent Agnes LaVende (Assing); his sons, Gary LaVende and Ryan LaVende; and his granddaughter Alana LaVende. He is also survived by 7 siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
