With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolynn L. Schafft of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolynn has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howey and Helen Howey; her sister Barbara Vogel; her brothers-in-law, Frank Simon and Michael Lance; and her nephew Vincent Bruno.
She is survived by: her son John Schafft; her grandchild Brooke Schafft of East Stroudsburg; her sister Joeann E. Lance; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Simon and Edward Vogel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and their children.
