We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis Young of East Smithfield, Pennsylvania, born in Elmira, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LaRue Stirton and Inez Stirton (Hanlon). She is survived by: her husband Bennett R. Young; her children, Melissa Gillette (Doug) of Ulster, PA, Bennett Young (Nora) of Milan, PA, Holly Allford (John) of Milan, PA and Patricia Croft (Warren) of Waverly, NY; her grandchildren, Hannah Allford Conover (Don) of Ulster, PA, Tyler Croft of Waverly, NY, Chloe Croft of Waverly, NY, Damon Young of East Smithfield, PA and Dawson Young of East Smithfield, PA; her stepgrandchildren, Josh, Tara Clark of Ridgebury, PA and Isaac Clark (Amanda) of Milan, PA; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Bishop (Betsy) of Columbia, IN; her cousin Patricia Ronsvalle of Owego, NY; her close friend Sam; and her pet Hemi. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Although covid and health issues were challenging this year and they were separated for a short time, Phyllis and Bennett were able to be together for the last few months.
