She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Knier and Belva Royer Knier; her husband Homer E. Witmer; her son Bruce E. Witmer; and her siblings, Violet Wissler, Pearl Bard, Annie Pittinger, Gertrude McCue, Belva Shuman and Ralph Bashor.
She is survived by: her son C. Barry Witmer of East Petersburg; and her granddaughter Christy K. (Daniel Rubinstein) of Lancaster.
