With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie D. (Cassidy) Uhrin of East McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Cassidy and Margaret Cassidy (McClelland); her husband Edward L. Uhrin; and her brothers, Hugh "Buzz" Cassidy, George Cassidy and John "Jack" Cassidy.
She is survived by: her children, Monica Swidwa (Kenneth) of North Huntingdon and Larry Erin (Marybeth) of Monroeville; her grandchildren, Timothy Erin (Melissa), Daniel Erin (Jennifer), Matthew Erin (Jennifer), Kristi Laun (Alexander) and Ken Swidwa (Kathy); and her great grandchildren, Penelope, Jack, Calvin, Emma, Christopher and William.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forgie Snyder Funeral Home (1032 Broadway Ave, East McKeesport, PA 15035). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Saint Angela Merici Parish (1640 Fawcett Ave, White Oak, PA 15131).
