It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank McClain of East McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Marie of Lea's Floral Shop; his parents, Frank McClain and Dorothy McClain (Platt); and his grandson Kirk Waszkiewicz. He is survived by: his children, Mary Pat Lechliter-King (Dennis), Frank J. McClain (Vicky) and Diane Waszkiewicz (Todd); his grandchildren, John, Mark (Julie), Brian (Ali), Maryann Lechliter (Dylan Pisarcik), Jessica, Frank Jr. (Brittany Platt), Lynnie McClain, Matthew, Elizabeth and Rebecca; and his siblings, Brian McClain, Robert McClain (Maureen) and Diane Kapp-Schmidt (Jack). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church (1640 Fawcett Ave, White Oak, PA 15131).
