She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Whalen; and her child Lenny S. Whalen. She is survived by: her children, Gary (Lilia) of Texas and Beverly Iarrusso (Ross DiBridge). She is also survived by her son and daughter, Elvira is survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
