He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bieler and Helen Bieler (Ritter); and his sister Fern Fried. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his sons, Craig Richard (Lisa) and Christopher Michael (Shannan); and his granddaughters, Kathryn, Rachel, Lindsay and Taylor Bieler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to New Goshenhoppen UCC.
