It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida M. Ayers of East Freedom, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida M. Ayers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leo and Ella May Butler (Kauffman); and her sisters, Edith Corle, Edna Snyder, Ruth Barnes and Effie Shriver.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin F. "Pete" Ayers; her sons, Jeff (Mary) of Camp Hill, Rod (Christy) of Roaring Spring and Mike (Sharon) of Martinsburg; her grandchildren, Beth Ayers, Matt Ayers, Ty Ayers, Janelle Spencer, Cassie Ayers and Ben Ayers; and her siblings, Annie Walk, Harry, Russell, John and Dean. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Ida may be given to Smith Corner Independent Mennonite Church Ladies Aide, 1955 Johnstown Rd., East Freedom, PA 16637.
