With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Waltena Alexander-Lauber of East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James Alexander, Jr. and Virginia Bernice Alexander; her stepparents, Ruth Alexander and William Scott; her former husbands, Paul Berner, Albert Murphy, Sr. and William Lauber, Jr.; and her daughter Beverly Berner.
She is survived by: her fiancé Fredrick Camenzind, Jr.; her children, Emma Yulick (Joseph), Virginia McLarty (John), Theodore Berner (Bonnie) and Carrie Murphy; and her stepdaughter Sally Carr. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; a very large extended family; and countless friends.
She was a lifelong knitter, crocheter, and crafter, and loved giving handmade gifts to friends and family, and making hats and scarves for charity.
