He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Evans and Evelyn Yates Evans Assetto; his son Wayne Vincent Evans; and his brothers, Rev. Jerry Evans and Maxie Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Monko "Cookie" Evans.
