She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel O. Pennington and Henrietta L. Pennington of Washington; her daughter-in-law Claudette Miles Pennington; and her siblings, Leon Pennington, Frances "Tana" Myers, Lillian Pennington and Donald Davis.
She is survived by: her children, William Pennington of Coatesville, Steven Pennington Lisa Trammell (Louis) of Coatesville, Nellie Pennington of Coatesville, Russell Pennington of Coatesville and Kevin Pennington of Coatesville; and her sisters, Sylvia Lawrence, Tina Flowers and Brenda Flowers. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
