She was predeceased by: her parents, Lettie E. Manley Norman and McLain C. Spann, Jr.; and her siblings, Seldon, William C., Clifton Alexander, Beatrice, Mabel, Mary and Louise.
She is survived by: her siblings, Letica and Douglas; her children, Leticia Spann Wilson of East Fallowfield and Douglas J. Spann, Sr. (Marie) of Coatesville; her sister Doris A. Spann of Farmington Hills; her grandchildren, George, Jr. (Michelle), Ralonda, Douglas, Jr., Jeanna and Jeannelle; her great grandchildren, Shaquida, Geonna, George, III (Jennifer), Geordan, Rahshon, Javan, Justin, Jihad, Kevin, Phierce, Eyana, Eyan, E'lasia, Ja'Nile, Javon, Dymere and Shardae; her great great grandchildren, D'Amora, Demetrius, Alani, Giavonni, Arvianna, Kyaia, Gavin and Heavenly; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth 'Betty" Norman.
