She was predeceased by: her parent Christian Cummings; and her stepson Arthur M. Polk, III. She is survived by: her spouse Arthur M. Polk, Jr.; her parent Kathryn Towson Cummings; her sons, James Whitehead (Cheryl), David Whitehead (Betty) and Jeffrey Whitehead (Raynea); her stepdaughters, Barbara Walters of Jasper, GA and Melody (Gary Haas) of Quarryville; and her sister Dolores Hurst of Ephrata.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Parkesburg United Methodist Church at the above address.
