He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis E. Kurtz (King); and his parents, Israel B. Kurtz and Cora Kurtz (Waltz). He is survived by: his children, Wanda E. (Jeffrey Cashwiler) and Michael R; and his siblings, Jerry (Arlene Kurtz), Vera Kochel, Kathryn Thompson and Arthur Kurtz. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
