She was predeceased by: her spouse Titus M. Shirk; her parents, Clement M. Leinbach and Annie Leinbach (Newswanger); her brother David N. Leinbach; and her brothers-in-law, Ivan Oberholtzer and Luke Z. Horst.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin L. Shirk (Ada Mae Zimmerman), Allen L. Shirk (Lizzie Hoover), Alice, Mabel, Esther Shirk, Kathryn (Aaron Newswanger), Anna Mae and Laura Shirk; her siblings, Christian N. Leinbach (Valerie Yancik), Enos N. Leinbach (Katie Huber), Emma (Eli Huber), Martha Oberholtzer, Susie (Ivan Sauder), Fannie Horst, Anna (Verle Payne) of Omak, WA and Mabel (Lloyd Martin); and her sister-in-law Lydia Leinbach (Weaver). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held at the residence of Allen L. Shirk, 111 E. Black Creek Rd., East Earl on Wednesday August 4 from 1 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
