He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sipes and Emma Sipes (Kuhns); and his wife Miriam Sipes (Seward). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Sipes, Jr., William (Ruth), Robert Sipes and Richard (Laura). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
