He was predeceased by: his parents, Buck Long and Patricia Long; and his grandson John, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lisa M. Long (Jones); his children, Kiera, Casey, Gene (Trish), John and William (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Kollin, Mikey, Gemma, Joseph and Haley; and his siblings, Jill Leeper and Jeff Long.
