He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thornton; his daughter Stacie Spruill; his adoptive son Raymond Muniz; his granddaughter Dominique Spruill; his great grandchild Denae McCall; his siblings, Larry Green (Mary), William Green (Wynee), Van Williams, Jr. (Valerie), Joyce Harrison (Norman), Vera West, Wanda Carter and Lucy Fields (Lawrence); his uncle John Thomas (Juanita); his great-aunts, Dorothy Tillman and Naomi Blue; and his brother-in-law Raymond Thomas.
