With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern Shirk (East Earl, Pennsylvania), born in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Earl Hetrick; and her brothers, Kenneth, Sterling, Eugene and Melvin Hetrick.
She is survived by: her parent Emma Hetrick (Rhoads); her former husbands, George Houck and Chester Shirk; her daughter Cynthia; her grandchildren, Jason Frank of Adamstown, Keri and Neil McGuigan of Leuchars Fife, Scotland; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Evan Frank, Drostan and Lachlan McGuigan; and her sister Doris.
