It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvin W. Weaver of East Earl, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron S. Weaver and Mabel G. Weaver (Wanner); and his siblings, Lydia (late Paul Shirk), Lloyd (Esther Nolt), Laura (late Leory Nolt), Vera Weaver and Aaron Weaver (Elizabeth Nolt).
He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Weaver (Zimmerman); his daughters, Tina (Neal Weiler) of Denver, PA, Marlene (Keith Burkholder) of Ephrata, PA, Michelle (Curtis Martin) of Phelps, NY, Karen (Matthew Hurst) of Ephrata, PA, Carolyn Weaver of Reading, PA and Joyce Franco of Lancaster, PA; and his siblings, Ivan (late Anna Martin), Raymond (Janet Martin), Irene (Kenneth Groff), Melvin (Erma Groff), Irwin (Lois Burkholder), Sadie (late Earl Sensenig), Mabel (Leon Martin), Paul (Reba Martin) and Linda Brubaker. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church (129 Pleasant Valley Rd, East Earl, PA 17519). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Adjoining Church Cemetery.
