He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow Helmick; and his sister Denise Bloom. He is survived by: his mother Rosemarie Helmick (Hettich); and his siblings, Cathy (Greg Hack) of Kentucky and Thomas (Suzanne). He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
