He was predeceased by: his spouse Irene Burkholder Martin; his parent Horace Martin; and his siblings, Raymond Martin and Margaret Sweigart. He is survived by: his parent Laura Hershey Martin; his daughter Cathy (James) of East Earl; and his stepgrandchildren, Randy Martin of Reamstown, Trudy Martin (Anthony Martin) of Denver and Eric Martin of Ephrata.
