She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold G. Smeltzer and Margie A. Smeltzer (Womeldorf); her siblings, Carol Jean Best, Tina Lorenz, John, Terry and Vincent Smeltzer; and her brothers-in-law, John Bellesfield and Richard Runyan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margie Nelko (Alex), Connie Tyson and Tiffany Griffin (Heath); her stepsons, Jason and Clyde Jr. Young; her grandchildren, Terry Tyson, Venice Nelko, Brandon Tyson, Tyler Tyson, Tony Griffin and Ashley Couture; her stepgrandchildren, Codee, Bella and Easton Young; her sisters, Diane Billotte (Edward) and Dorthy Runyan (Daniel Guntrum); her sister-in-law Velma Smeltzer; and her close friend Don Chandler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name Iva "Sue" Tyson to St. Jude Children's Hospital Alcorn Funeral Home.
