He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Friel and Pearl E. Friel (Rettig); his wife Sandy; and his siblings, Edward and Mary Louise.
He is survived by: his son Chuck Friel of East Brady; and his grandchildren, Kole, Kaden, Kaitlyn, Shea and Leo Friel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Eusebius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Friel family asks that donations be made in Chuck name to East Brady Ambulance PO Box 325, East Brady, PA 16028.
