She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard H. Sheppe and Anna B. Sheppe (Laird). She is survived by: her husband Edgar F. Shaw; her sons, Michael A. Shaw of Mechanicsburg and Jason A. Shaw (Lexie) of Norfolk, VA; her granddaughter Lyla A. Shaw of Norfolk, VA; and her brother Wayne H. Sheppe of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
