He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cookerly and Jean Cookerly (Hoover); and his brother Fred Cookerly. He is survived by: his close friend Vivien Cookerly; his children, Troy J. Cookerly of East Berlin and Prudi L. Showers (Jeff) of Gardners; his grandson Colby K. Showers of Gardners; and his siblings, Thomas Cookerly of Hanover, Michael Cookerly of East Berlin, John Cookerly of New Oxford, Donna Oberlander of Hanover and Deb Quibell.
