He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Ebersole and Della M. Ebersole (Masemer); his former wife Nancy Nell Ebersole; his son Ronald S. Ebersole; and his siblings, Gerald Ebersole, Sylvia Knapp and Grace Nagorny.
He is survived by: his wife Gail E. Ebersole (Rider); his children, Jeffrey R. Ebersole (Mary) of East Berlin, Michael D. Ebersole (Kathy) of East Berlin and Beth Anne Ensor (Mark) of East Berlin; his stepchildren, Rory D. Shaffer (Alison) of Robling, NJ, Eric D. Shaffer (Maureen) of Hanover and Suzanne S. Hamidi (Asim) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Miller, Matthew, Nathan Ensor, Adam, Joshua Ebersole, Courtney Kramer and Marybeth Ensor; his stepgrandchildren, Brooke Ensor, Casey Grim, Justin, Elizabeth, Hannah Shaffer, Adam, Zachariah, Sophie Hamidi, Luke Crabill, Erin Wilt, Kyle and Shawn Lawrence; and his siblings, Sam Ebersole of York, Sara Hess of York and Jane Dietz of York. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
