We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2023, at the age of 89, Eugene H. Saltzgiver of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Saltzgiver and Ruth Saltzgiver (Weaver); and his siblings, Helen Sponseller, Doris Lawrence and Rodger Saltzgiver.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne (Baumgardner); his sons, Gary Saltzgiver (Jane) and Michael Saltzgiver (Karen); his grandchildren, Jennifer Sherdel (John), Hollie Armstrong (Steve), Patrick Saltzgiver (Ashley), Eugene Williams and Joyce Williams; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Sherdel, Jacob Sherdel, Jillian Sherdel, Luke Selby, Zoe Jones, Oliver Williams, Adele Williams, Joel Magcalas, Saylor and Seanna Saltzgiver.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eugene's name to the St. Paul's Dubs Church Cemetery Fund, 1958 Dubs Church Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
