He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta E. Prophet and Helen G. Prophet (Sullivan); and his sister Margaret Griesing. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Prophet (Faris); his sons, Michael P. Prophet of Cedar Falls, IA, Matthew D. Prophet (Monica) of Ballston Spa, NY and William D. Prophet (Takako) of Scottsdale, AZ; and his brother John Prophet of Woodbury, CT. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
