He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Garis (Fetherman); his daughters, Lori Ruth (Mark) and Tami Manicke (Scott); his brother Bruce Garis; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas Ruth, Benjamin, Maxwell and Allison Manicke.
