In loving memory of Gene A. Rutt of East Bangor, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on April 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Gene leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Osburn Rutt, Jr. and Ruth E. Rutt (Fisher). He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Devlyn McLain (Larry), Terri Parsons (Joe), Roxann Rutt (Tom), Robert Rutt (Nancy) and Duwayne Rutt (Karen); his siblings, Helen, Leila, Ruth, Bonnie, Joann, Pamela, Debbie, Tandra and Osburn Rutt, III; and his grandchildren, Bridgette, Adam, Amanda, Justin, Kyle, Stephen, Dean and Drew. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Washington Banquet Facility (920 Washington Blvd, Bangor, PA 18013).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
