He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Kilmer and Jennie Kilmer (Vogt); his stepmother Martha Vogt Kilmer; his brother Max Kilmer; his sister-in-law Eleanor Kilmer; and his granddaughter Faith Evelyn Shannon.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Bennett; his children, Stacey Pardoe Shannon (Michael) of West Lawn, PA, Mark D. Pardoe (Shannon) of Monroeton and Tracy F. Pardoe of Dushore; his grandchildren, Davin B. Taylor, Dylan T. Taylor, Kendra M. Pardoe, Dave R. Pardoe, Brooke O. Shannon and Hank Shannon; his great grandchildren, Adisyn N. R. Taylor and Waylon D. Taylor; his niece Donna Francis of Norcross, GA; his nephew Paul Kilmer of Harrisburg; and his mother-in-law Evelyn M. Higley of Hillsgrove.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to the Sullivan County Historical Society or the Sullivan County Library.
