It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ray McKernan of Dushore, Pennsylvania, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dennis and Betty Lou Krause McKernan; his daughter Amy Kay Frederick; and his brother-in-law David Turner of St. Peters, MO.. He is survived by: his wife Becky McKernan of Benton, KY; his son James McKernan Wilmot Twp; his sister Mary Margaret McKernan Wilmot (Bill Yannick); his sisters-in-law, Ruth (Carl) and Brenda Turner St; his grandson Derek (Randi Huffman); his uncle Roy P.; and his aunts, Carol Ann (Pete), Connie Jean Krause, Rexine, Jeanne and Jane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
