He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Patrick and Stella Lange McCamley; and his siblings, Julia McCamley and Joseph McCamley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Sander of Philadelphia; his children, Jim, John McCamley (Lisa) and Julie Bahl (Ron); his grandsons, James McCamley III, Carsyn McCamley and David Desario; and his brothers-in-law, John (Patricia) and Edward. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 26 great nieces and nephews, and 27 great-great nieces and nephews.
