He was predeceased by: his parents, Casmier Vermac and Mary Lou Vermac (Jopling); his brother Paul "Crue" Vermac, Sr. (Darlene); his nephew Charles Vermac, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Jean Carey; his sister-in-law Patty Breymeier; and his nephew Ralph Breymeier.
He is survived by: his wife Geri Vermac (Carey); his children, Stephen Vermac, Jr. of Old Forge, Tara Lavelle (Timothy) of Moosic, David Romanko of Dunmore, Rick Romanko (Ashley) of Springbrook Twp and Daniel Romanko of Springbrook Twp; and his siblings, Thomas Vermac of Dushore, Diane Van Luvender (Chris) of Avoca, Cathy Martin (Robert) of Avoca, Debbie Gratalo (Robert) of Dupont and Charles Vermac (Mary Jane) of Avoca. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
