He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Rachkowski and Anna Motchnik Rachkowski; his wife Mary Burilla; and his brothers, Joseph and Leonard.
He is survived by: his son Richard Rachkowski Jr. (Lynn) of Harding; and his grandchildren, Lauren Ceccoli (Richard) of Forty Fort and Richard K. Rachkowski of Lake Township. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or animal rescue of the donor's choice.
