He was predeceased by: his brother Edward Slatky Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Doxbeck (Lorrie); his daughters, Lori Kasisky (Rob) of Falls and Tami Bonczek (Paul) of Avoca; his grandchildren, Casey Kasisky, Kelsey Lagrue, Nicole Perles and Billy Bonczek; and his siblings, James Slatky (Cheryl) of Trumbull, CT, Rosemary Bartush of Montrose and Audrey Provenzano (Paul) of Athens, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 585, 329 Main Street, Duryea.
