He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hastie and Ruth McHale Hastie; and his son Martin. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hastie (Beth) of Clark Summit and Cheryl Scartelli (Patrick) of Tafton; his grandchildren, Martin, Katherine, Kyle and Avery; and his siblings, Beverly Lynch of Forty Fort and Kenneth Hastie of Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Center, 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
