It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois A. Sossong (Duryea, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 21, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Sossong and Anna Breunig Sossong; and her sister Elverna Wilson. She is survived by: her cousins, Saundra Horvic and Dr. Margaret Breznay (Christopher); and also, Anna Rose and Margaret Lin Breznay.
Art was one of the most important joys of her life. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private Catholic committal service will be held at the Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Elmhurst, at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the local no kill animal shelter of the donor's choice. Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc. 255 McAlpine St. Duryea.
