Joseph P. Namatka Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph P. Namatka of Duryea, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Namatka and Elizabeth Namatka (Kanyok); his wife Mary Ann Namatka (Sowa); and his siblings, Raymond Namatka, Michael Namatka, Peter Namotka, Elizabeth Dranchak (Betty) and Marie Mateyka.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda (Robert Dzieciol); his grandson Robert John Dzieciol (Dallas); his brothers, Gerald (Liz Namatka), Frank (Mary Jane Namatka) and Ransom; his niece Rose Namotka Jordan; and his godsons, Jeff and Jason Matiko. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and godsons.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Parish (127 Stephenson St, Duryea, PA 18642).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital in memory of Joseph.
