He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Scyrba and Ann Scyrba (Magda); his wife Gloria Gemzik Scyrba; his siblings, Frances Scyrba, Pauline Scyrba, Theresa Scyrba, Walter Scyrba, Lucy Scyrba and Joseph Scyrba; and his son-in-law Fred C. Lokuta.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Lokuta; his grandchildren, Fred J. Lokuta (Nicole) and Camaryn Lokuta Bizik (Justen); his great grandchild Gemma Lokuta of Dupont; and his sisters, Mary Misencik of Moosic and Helen Cace of Hackettstown, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (215 Lackawanna Ave, Dupont, PA 18641).
