With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John P. Sokolowsky (Duryea, Pennsylvania), born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sokolowsky and Bernardine Dudzik Sokolowsky; and his siblings, Stanley Sokolowsky, Mary Badyrka, Theresa Wychoskie, Michael Sokolowsky and Ann Marie Rowlands.
He is survived by: his brother Eddie Sokolowsky; his wife Nancy of Harding; his sisters, Bernie Rink (Robert) of Scranton and Judy Martinelli (David) of Duryea; his close friend Patty Rescigno of Trucksville; and also, Christa and Hope.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
