It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Robert Ankenbrand of Duryea, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ankenbrand and Elizabeth Price Ankenbrand of Hughestown; and his brothers, James, Joseph and John Ankenbrand.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bostock Ankenbrand; his children, Robert Ankenbrand (Alisha Moroz) of Baltimore, MD, Darren Ankenbrand and Jennifer Wilson (Robert); his grandchildren, Olivia Ankenbrand, Brooke and Alexa Wilson; and his sister-in-law Roseann Ankenbrand. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
