With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene P. George (Duryea, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eugene left this world on April 16, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George and Theresa George (Pernot); and his siblings, Patricia Grogan, Sally Atwell and Robert J. "Bob" George.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Scaz George; his sons, Eugene George II (Gail Doran) of Duryea and Jeffrey George (Trisha) of Randolph, NJ.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Aiden George, Olivia, Andrew George and Alyvia Doran; his brother Paul George of Clarks-Summit; and his siblings-in-law, Ken, Linda Scaz of Jacksonville, FL and Donald Atwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of the Apostles Parish Church (715 Hawthorne St, Avoca, PA 18641).
