It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest J. Cavalari Jr. (Duryea, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Cavalari Sr. and Frances I. Cavalari (Soy); and his siblings, Martin Cavalari, Lois Kobeski and Nancy Grella.
He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Cavalari (Cicon); his children, Kevin Cavalari (Sue Quiller) of Troop and Wendy Marie Cavalari of Pheonix, AZ; his grandson Nico Cavalari; his siblings, Raymond Cavalari of New Jersey, Janet Felice of Old Forge and Carl; and his sister-in-law Cathy Wisnesky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc. (255 McAlpine St, Duryea, PA 18642). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of the Apostles Parish Church (715 Hawthorne St, Avoca, PA 18641).
