He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Karp and Helen Sanderson Karp; his wife Louise M. Lencheski Karp; his former wife Jean Webb Karp; and his sister Nellie Aldrich.
He is survived by: his daughter Ruth Mierzwa of Nanticoke; and his sisters, Sally Powell of Glendale and Nancy Miles of Scranton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
