He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June Ann Thorne Barber; his parents, Gladys Bonham Barber of Windsor, NY and Lee Barber; his sons, Kevin and Scott Barber of Martinsville, VA; his stepson Robert Bartolomei of Old Forge; his siblings, Laura Coddington of Windsor, NY, Larry Barber of Harpursville, NY and Randy Barber; and his stepgrandchildren, Sydney, Breeana, Caden, Brooklynn and Gavyn. He was also cherished by several nieces, great nieces, and nephew.
